This is a lined wool/poly dress that was a couple of sizes too big. I removed about 4" in circumference from the side seams. (The zipper is at the center back, so i didn't want to touch that area) I also had to cut the shoulder straps and raise the dress up about 1 1/2" because the empire seam was too low. That caused a small problem. It was too short to wear to work.
